This Gorgeous Burr Walnut 19th Century Davenport is in great condition having a Pierced Brass Gallery sat above the lift up Stationery Box Lid, opening to reveal a fitted Interior with compartments and Pen Keep, there is some Ink staining, to the fore of this there is a Writing Slope with Green Leather Insert, which is a replacement, which Lifts up to reveal a Satin Wood interior with Four Dummy Drawers fitted with small wooden Knobs and a Brass Stay, flowing down below with Scroll work to the Front, and a hinged door to the right hand side as you look at it from the front, fitted with a Lock and Key, opening to reveal Four Graduated Drawers with recessed Turned Handles, of Dovetailed construction and running smoothly, all supported on Four Bunn feet resting Upon Castors. All in all a Quality piece with beautiful Veneers and Patinas!
