"Who Goes There!"

Just in we have this Wonderful 19th Century Military Campaign Trunk, is in great condition having a Rectangular Iron Bound Top fitted with a Brass Recessed Handle and Brass Strong Hinges, sat upon an Iron Bound Base with Iron Strong Handles, a Brass Name Plate depicting the Name S.W.Silver & Co, London and Portsmouth. S.W.Silver & Co. began in the 18th Century as Colonial and Army Agents, Clothiers and Outfitters principally to those in the Army and Colonial Service, as well as shipping Agents for such people Travelling Overseas. The Top Hinges, opening to reveal a Brass Strong Stay, and a brass Hook to the underside of which there would of been many more fitted in the past, but have been removed sadly, a fitted interior of Two Dividing removable Partitions, and a Removable Tray with Compartments and Lovely Brass Ring Handles, there is a Lock but no Key!! This is a Lovely Clean Piece, full of Character and Charm, making it a Talking point, practical and useful for any room in the Home!
